Preparations before starting the injection molding machine
1. Wear safety protective clothing according to workshop regulations before production. Clean the environment around the equipment. Do not store items unrelated to production. Clean the inside and outside of the workbench and equipment, and wipe the injection seat guide rail and mold closing part with clean cotton yarn.
2. Check whether the equipment's control switches, buttons, electrical circuits, operating handles, and handwheels are damaged or faulty. Every switch and handle should be in the "off" position. Whether the safety protection devices of all parts of the equipment are intact and whether the work is sensitive and reliable. Check whether the "emergency stop" test is effective and reliable, whether the safety door slides flexibly, and whether the limit switch can operate during the switching process. The safety protection devices on the equipment (such as mechanical lock levers, stop plates, safety protection switches, etc.) are not allowed to be moved at will, modified or intentionally disabled.
3. Check whether the screws in each part are tight and whether they are loose, whether the cooling system, cold runner, oil pump, etc. are normal. If there is any abnormality or damage, report it to the foreman. It should be handled by the foreman or the maintenance personnel should be notified. Check each cooling water pipeline and test the water flow to see if the water flow is smooth and whether it is clogged or dripping. Check whether there is foreign matter in the AB barrel and whether there is material. Prevent dust and debris from falling into the barrel.
Start up the injection molding machine
1. After everything is checked, turn on the machine and preheat the barrel and mold according to the set process temperature. Let the mold temperature reach the process temperature. Jinyu liquid silicone injection machine has a preheating function, and various parameters can be set in advance. It will automatically heat up as soon as it is turned on or at the right time.
2. Open the cooling water valve of the oil cooler, cool the oil return and water delivery hoses, and start the oil pump by jogging. The oil pump can be officially started only after no abnormality is found. After the screen displays "Motor on", it can start running. Is the safety door functioning properly?
3. The operator must use the machine according to the specifications. When operating the button, press the button with both hands to avoid the other hand following the mold and causing injury. Jinyu Machinery’s high-end machines are equipped with safety gratings, which can also prevent work-related injuries.
4. Anyone other than the operator on duty is not allowed to press the buttons and handles without authorization, and more than two people are not allowed to operate the same injection molding machine at the same time. Gloves must be worn when removing materials to prevent burns.
8. When repairing the machine or cleaning the mold for a long time (more than 10 minutes), the injection seat must be retracted to remove the nozzle from the mold and the motor must be turned off. The operator must not leave the job when repairing the machine.
9. When abnormal sounds, odors, sparks, oil leakage and other abnormal conditions are found during the operation of the machine, stop the machine immediately, report to the relevant personnel immediately, and explain the fault phenomenon and possible causes.
Precautions for shutdown
1. The injection seat is separated from the fixed template, and the mold is in the open state.
2. Close the cooling water lines and turn each switch to the "off" position. Turn off the machine's main power switch during the last shift of the holiday.
3. Clean the machines, workbench and floor debris, oil and dust to keep the workplace clean and tidy.
