Demevac Organic Silicone Emulsion Plant opens in Zhangjiagang

(A new joint venture of Wacker Chemie AG and Guangdong Demei Fine Chemicals Co., Ltd., which is a new silicone emulsion plant in China, officially opened in Zhangjiagang City, Jiangsu Yangtze International Chemical Industry Park on April 30th. The new plant, with an annual production capacity of about 30,000 tons, mainly provides organic silicon emulsions and process aids for the Chinese textile, leather and fiber industries. With the commissioning of the new plant, Demevac will further consolidate its leading position in China's fast-growing market.

It is reported that Demevac also invested in a new emulsion plant in Shunde, Guangdong. Huang Guanxiong, chairman of Demei Fine Chemicals, said that the two new production plants will help them quickly respond to local market demand, improve the level of customer service in the region, and provide organic silicon products that meet international quality standards.)
